Buyer enquiries are sent directly to you, with notifications via email and SMS. They're also stored in your member portal so you can keep track of them.
Buyers are often considering several properties, so responding promptly can make a real difference. Even if you can't speak immediately, acknowledge the enquiry and arrange a suitable time to talk or inspect.
When arranging a private inspection:
- Confirm the buyer's name, contact details and inspection time.
- Have the property clean, tidy and ready to present.
- Secure valuables and personal documents.
- Avoid conducting one-on-one inspections alone where possible.
- Give buyers time to look around and ask questions.
- Follow up afterwards to answer questions or discuss their interest.
Keep notes on your enquiries and inspections so you know which buyers are most engaged and who may need a follow-up.
For group inspections, see our How to Run Your Own Open Home guide.
