Should I sell my house with Purplebricks?

Unfortunately, their model did not work in Australia and ended with their departure around three years after. No Agent Property (NAP), a similar service started in 1999 and still continues, with their successful model. Read our reviews

Why is the No Agent Property Model better than the Purplebricks Model?

Purple Bricks offered a service which included one of their agents to run open inspections for your house (however at a price). Agreed, this is convenient but considering the price difference of charges (i.e. No Agent Property starts from $699.00 including a for sale board and listings on major sites like ‘realestate.com.au’ and ‘domain.com.au’ compared to Purple Brick Fees of $4,500 - 7,500. That makes doing the open inspections an expensive component. With No Agent Property, the owners (vendors) do their own inspections and when they don’t want to, or perhaps can’t, (as they live in a different state), then the vendor organised a friend or a neighbour to help them. What a great idea! The open homes are just that. You open your home, at a pre-arranged time which is advertised on all the portal sites for all to see. When conducting an open home, all that is required is to take down the names and contact numbers of the prospective buyers and provide them to the owner for them to deal with externally. NAP provide brochures, so your ‘helper’ can give a brochure to all that enter the house. So, problem solved. Alternatively, some of our customers used external sites like ‘Airtasker’ to advertise the job to do the Open Inspections. Another great solution.

Choose from one of the following options to boost your advertising:

✓ Get documentation (contract of sale: vendor statement) prepared by a conveyancer or solicitor – (NAP has a national provider). ✓ Actively list and market your house for sale (Using the NAP Model) ✓ Run open inspections or Inspections by appointment ✓ Negotiate with buyers (which NAP can assist you with) ✓ Settle – (Settlement is organised by your conveyancer or solicitor) So apart from the Open Inspections, NAP can assist you with the whole ‘selling model’ and assist you with a strong campaign. Many people ask can you sell my house or sell my property and let us assure you, to sell a property is now much easier than years gone past. It is now so easy and you save thousands of dollars by not paying commission and sell without agents. So be sure to consider a for sale by owner model with NAP for your private sale. In additional to selling a home, you may have a private rental property you wish to advertise. Again, without paying any on-going leasing fees, you too can find the right tenant for your rental property.
