It consists of 3 bedrooms – lounge – kitchen - dining room – laundry – bathroom – sunroom. A second toilet was installed next to bathroom.

History was found when the bearers (that were replaced) came from the shipwrecked “Admella” including the original brass plaque “Galley” – we incorporated these into the arch from kitchen to dining room (as shown in Photo No. 8).

The original front 2 rooms are lounge and main bedroom – The remaining rooms were built of Gambier Limestone approximately 1920’s. At the rear of house is a sunroom constructed of timber and glass windows. The garden has a hot house and fernery. The beach and jetty are 3 minutes walk from the house. During the holidays, Port MacDonnell trebles its population. They have a huge festival in January and also a Tuna competition with entrants from overseas as well as locals. The historic customs house is still standing and provides great interest from tourists.
