Our Free Range eggs have a Niche market having been fed only gluten free grains i.e. sorghum, corn, and are sold in our own name as Kimbers Freerange (Gluten Free). We have found this to be a good marketing tool and market the majority of our eggs through 1 major wholesaler. We do have our own local markets to local towns and businesses of our own choosing.

OTHER IMPROVEMENTS:-

* Three (3) developed water bores, one being potable water of some 5700 litres per hour, fully equipped with electric submersible pump. The other 2 bores have approximated some 150gallons per hour of lesser quality, but usable water for stock only.

* Automatic feed lines and 2 1/2 tonne feed bins connected to feed lines, and water nipple drinker lines, with 1000 litre header tanks supplied on each shed. Combined with this there are 2 x 30,000 litre storage tanks gravity fed to all sheds which are continuously replenished each day with the 5700 litres per hour bore.

* This system is also supplied for stock water some 1klm in distance to the adjoining paddock which currently runs approximately 30 - 50 head of cows and calves / horses. The stock also have 2 permanent dams. This land could also be utilised for cropping as it is rich red volcanic soil. The property is fully fenced with 1 holding paddock (approx 3 acres).

* 180 irrigated, developed producing avocado trees which work in coalition with chicken ranging.
